Chinese New Year 2010

Anticipation with a capital A...as we waited to celebrate Chinese New Year with our local FCC adoption group.

Our CNY celebration was rescheduled three times due to snow.
But, finally, we all met. Over 100 people attended. The little people were so excited to dress up in their 'Chinese clothes' and eat Chinese food...with chopsticks.
Soooo handsome...Ms. Alexis would never miss the big day. Zachary was sick at home, sadly, and Joel B stayed home with him for moral support. They enjoy the celebration but are getting to the age that dressing in PJs in a public place is no longer cool.

It's really neat that the kids look forward to the occasion every year. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful community of adopting families. I truly love all these little ones as my own...all 50 plus kids.
No matter where we are, boys will be boys.
