Below is a list of children that the CCAA assigned to A Helping Hand. Current available children are open for adoption to ANY family who meets the guidelines as set forth by the China Center of Adoption Affairs. Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to be considered for the adoption of one of these precious children. Grants are available with every waiting child adoption.
Ethan is a curious 6-year old who likes to explore new things. He is active and full of energy in front of those he knows; however, shy and quiet around strangers. Ethan lives with a foster family and is especially close to his grandpa and grandma in that family and likes to comfort his younger sister when she is crying. He is also described as very helpful and polite.Ethan has undergone surgeries for repair of undescended testicles and an inguinal hernia.

Oliver will turn 3 years old in June. He was found abandoned as a newborn infant at the entrance of an orphanage. This same orphanage became his home. On examination he was found to weigh 7.2 lbs. and was healthy except for a developmental defect of his right foot. It was later determined that he was also Hepatitis B positive. The latest information we have on Oliver is that he could talk to his caretaker with simple phrases and could walk steadily. He is described as active with a quick reaction, having a ready smile and fond of playing with other children. His caretakers also indicated that he has a good appetite and is overall healthy, well physically developed, and has normal physical and intellectual development. Lance just turned 6 years old in January. Sadly, he was abandoned on his 4th birthday. At that time he was found to have a severe cleft lip and palate; however the cleft lip had already been repaired before he was abandoned. When he entered the institution, he did not get along with other children and had difficulties swallowing and speaking. Because of these difficulties, he is behind other children his age.His caretakers worked with him to make sure he was eating healthy and communicating more effectively. This special care has helped Lance become an active, energetic child who has a quick reaction. He is now described as “talkative” and enjoys playing with other children. He underwent the 2nd phase of Cleft Lip/Palate neoplasty in December. His favorite toy is “Ultraman”. Jason had a rough start to his first 34 months of life. At 3 days old, he was found abandoned and taken to the local orphanage. He was very weak and had trouble taking his milk due to cleft lip and palate. With good care, he gained strength and was able to undergo surgery to repair his cleft lip. At that time, the doctors also repaired a left inguinal hernia and performed surgery for gastro esophageal reflux. Since then he has been hospitalized two separate times for cleft palate repair and then for repair of a right inguinal hernia. He has also been diagnosed with chicken chest.Jason is described as sensitive, clever and having a ready smile. He is an “active, lovely child” with physical developmental delays due to his difficult start in life. He likes colorful toys that make lots of noise! He also responds to the word, “No”.
