Alaina's School Party...

Alaina and I have so looked forward to having her "Winter Party" at school. Today was the last day of school before Winter Break!


I'm one of the Homeroom Moms and enjoyed helping organize the party. Well, last night right at bedtime, I became very, very sick. I slept well last night until 4AM and then was very, very sick again. I did go back to bed and got up at 8AM...still oh so sick..yuck!


I called Joel and asked him if he would be the "Homeroom Dad" today...and be in charge at the party. Thank God for a husband that will jump in and do things like this for me. (He has also done a couple of jewelry shows when I was sick....both were great shows.) He called me from school like 100 times to ask questions of what he was suppose to do...so cute. Sounds like the party was a hit.


Alaina's teacher loved her China purse and Premier Jewelry certificate. Instead of exchanging names and buying gifts for each other, the kids bought a group gift for a child in need in our local area. I loved that idea!


Miss Alaina came home so happy and eager to share all the details that I missed.Her teacher gave me the most beautiful little ornament from Willow Tree. If you look closely, it has a tiny engraving: Thank You. Very sweet. I love it!

And yes, I'm finally feeling a little better after 24 hours...ugh. I have so much to do...double ugh.
