Last week, my big baby girl turned 15 years old! For 15 years, I've had so much fun planning 'themed' birthday parties for her. We've done it all and they all have turned out so cute. This year, she wanted simple. She's 15 now, ya know. Simple made me happy, too.

The very last minute, we invited some of her friends to go out and eat for a late afternoon lunch. Nobody was there in the Mexican restaurant at that time and it was one of the best little birthday parties ever. The girls practiced their Spanish on the waiters...and actually impressed me.

The restaurant staff was wonderful. To our surprise, especially Alexis, the restaurant staff came running into the room, popped a bag...boom...really loudly, and started singing to her. Then, to even a bigger surprise, fed her whipped topping and a cherry (which is not her favorite). She was a great sport as you can tell. We thought that it was the funniest thing ever.
Afterward, Alaina said she wanted to have her 6th birthday party there so the staff could make a grand entrance for her and feed her whipped topping and cherries. I don't think 6 year olds would enjoy this kind of party...but we will see. Apparently, Alaina sure did.

Alaina had the most fun. She sang to her sister and enjoyed the big girls' company.

Thanks, Girls! We had a blast!!

Happy 15, Alexis!! We love you!!!!
Now we need to start thinking about her driving....ugh. I'm not ready.
