Zoe finds her Forever Family...

This is the story of Zoe Zebra and how she found her family.

Liberty lost her zebra collection in a terrible house fire. Alaina, who is very sad about Liberty losing all her zebras, wanted to give a special gift. She wanted to give her a special zebra and she picked a very special name... Zoe.




February 3, 2009, we visited Build A Bear in search of Zoe Zebra. There were many Zebras there waiting on their forever families. When we saw Zoe, we knew she was the one for Liberty.

First, she had to have some stuffing to make her full and chubby.

Next, Alaina made a wish, kissed Zoe’s heart and put it inside her.The Build A Bear nanny sewed her up... and placed her in Alaina’s arms. Zoe is 17 inches tall and weighs 13.7 ounces. She has black and white fur with beautiful black eyes.

Alaina gave her a warm (pretend) bath and brushed her hair. The Build A Bear nanny gave us her birth certificate and took our picture.
In a few weeks, Zoe arrived at Liberty’s home in Colorado. Zoe will always be loved and a blessing to her family.
