Joel B.'s Soccer Weekend

This past weekend, we traveled to Joel B.'s soccer tournament. Alexis stayed with friends so she could go to dance. The team played Saturday morning, Saturday at 5PM and then Sunday early morning. His team didn't win the tournament but we are so proud of them. This was their first game as a new team. We are very proud of Joel B for making the "Elite" team, a team with such talent. We are amazed at the abilities God has given Joel B. We pray he uses them for His glory.

The kids did great getting up so early. The ground was moist but the sun was shining. It was a beautiful weekend. We ate breakfast while watching the game. By the time the game was finished and we made it back to the hotel, it was time for lunch. We ate at K&W Cafeteria for lunch on Saturday. We had never taken the kids there and it had been years since we ate there. It's just not my favorite place to eat. They push you through the line and with this many kids, we can't move any faster..LOL. We knew the little people needed some good veggies so we thought we would give it a try. Alaina loved it and you would have thought we were eating a million dollar lunch! They all got Jello..different colors. At the end of the meal, Alaina asked about the name of the restaurant. We said the name is K&W. She responded by saying she didn't need to know how to spell it...she just wanted to know the name of it. Too funny.
The evening game was cool also. The little ones enjoyed the big open space beside the field. Look who is kicking a soccer ball already. We are not surprised!! His brothers play all day long.

So tired. Little Benjamin missed his nap in the hotel room. Hudson had a great nap but Benny just wouldn't sleep. He was so tired and Hudson took care of him.

Alaina was sitting on the ball and Benjamin came over, pushed her off and sat down. It was kind of funny...and Alaina is so patient with the baby boys...most of the time.

Spending time with a new friend.
And then we have a climber! He is such a strong little guy. This picture is too precious. It was the very end of the game and by this point, he is so tired. He climbed into the bottom of the stroller and almost went to sleep. He finally did crash while riding to the car in the stroller. He slept until we made it to the restaurant for dinner. Sweet!

Trina,

It looks like Ben is doing so well and he isn't attached to your hip! He just gets cuter with every picture. I love to show Claire the blogs of the kids from the travel group. She likes to look at them. I don't know if she remembers but I am trying to keep the connection for her. The boys say hi to Joel B and Zach.

Take care,

Robin
