Praises!!

Joel's dad is doing really well!! Thank you so much for your prayers. We feel them. The bleeding has stopped and the doctors are not planning surgery. The hospital served him breakfast, lunch and dinner today! A very big praise!!

He will stay in the hospital for another week possibly and then we are guessing a few weeks in rehab. We feel he will walk again...and praying no permanent damage has been done.

We are so thankful, today...January 1, 2010 that we have him with us. A few days ago, the family thought it was time for him to leave us temporarily. :) He is still in ICU so please continue to pray for direction for the doctors.

After he is home, many changes will be taking place including selling their home and finding a home that will be more suitable to meet his needs. Big changes... and for most of us, change is hard.

The door to our home has been opened many times the past few days and we are thankful we could live nearby the hospital. Almost all 31 family members have stopped by, stayed the night or at least taken a shower. Lots of laundry, dishes...and much fun,too. The kids have had so much fun spending time with their cousins. It's been a blessing for us to have this time together. We've been too busy to take pictures but hope to do that before everyone leaves.

Thanks for your continued prayers and encouragement. It means so much.
